David B    I have been watching as of late the news regarding , countries killing whales, and I just cannot believe it. I simply cannot believe some of the short term thinking....Can we not resort to other things to make money ? The earth is 25,000 miles around come on......

David B    so you can dig it ?

macmccraney    The other night I watched a charming little movie that reminded me of how much fun my annual family reunions are....it's called "Saw"....

David B    Jay, I may grow my own garden as well.

Jay M    Thanks for ALL the encouragement David and Soultiger!! Truly DO appreciate it! I will do my BEST this Harvest Season!! Just trying to do my part to help feed this Wonderful World that WE ALL Share! Thanks again!!! Jay.

David B    Farmers once represented the people of this land, they would have their say and then go home, not live in Washington for 50 years !

macmccraney    Hi everyone, hope y'all are well, was listening to "Into The Light" last night, and remember when "Slave" came out and was played on a local rock station, I would pull the car over and just listen! Take care everyone, have a great day!

Anasazi    beautiful sunset David..the clouds/smoke on the mountains make its look like a sunset on the ocean.beautiful photo..I also enjoyed the other photos you have on your site...thank you.Blessings and love to everyone...

Purplesnake    This place just has great singers!!! Check this guy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQxWOIa1IPY

soultiger    Farming in general (and the hard work it includes) is underestimated worldwide these days. So thumbs up, my friend Jay !! ;-)

David B    Jay, Thanks Jay for the e-mail. We do not have a Pro football team as of yet, does not seem to fit the niche here for whatever reason, ultimately i suppose the tax base not here, with right at 5 million people(could fit nicely inside of Atlanta). I know the USFL tried, I suppose the NFL made a better call. Huge rivally here between Alabama and Auburn. I know the world over has sports that they follow to get'em rawled up whatever it may be, its just good fun. The Tea party , what a channel of energy to tap from frustration. I remember United We Stand , and meeting Ross Perot, that was a treat. I think its good to have a Revolution of sorts , to challenge the established and the complacent. I appreciate you sharing about your farm. I know its hard work. Its hard to believe so few farmers here in the states feed so many people, domestically and worldwide. I rememeber living on 360 acres of grass, and the white pickett fences i had to paint. I truly appreciate farming. Thank you.

Jay M    Very NICE picture, Purple my Brother!! Personally I am not familiar with this movie, But I do appreciate any kind of Artful expression! Thanks Again Purple! Jay.

Anasazi    such richness achieved by the lack of vivid color..but carries such powerful elements in this frame. Thanks Purplesnake. He showed us life in a way that empowered every emotion he gave to us.adding the qualities of sound, timing, color or lack of ,movement..brilliant works that he left us. the sound of water in the lack of light with the slow movement of a hand to caresss....

David    Forgive me not familiar with the famous film producer....definately a dark feel to me...the shot reminds me of the 40's era

Purplesnake    I was watching Stalker last year and I did some print screens, I really like the picture of that film.

Purplesnake    Thanks a lot, Konrad!

Konrad S    Purplesnake: sent a message with three links

Purplesnake    Konrad!!! And I thought no one would recognize it! I thought only PA would do it. And that's great to hear about it! Could u post some links? Thank u! Purple

Konrad S    Purplesnake: I thought that photo looked like a still from a Tarkovsky film and I was right! He is one of my favorite filmmakers and I am good friends with some people who either wrote a book, directed a documentary or operate a website devoted to the man's work.

Jay M    ? For Ya, my friend David, why did you delete your first account? Like I said before, I miss the very nice pictures you had, Bugger! Also I left you quite a lengthy message under the account "David B". That is your new account, Eh? Hope so, or someone else got the message! Ha Ha Ha. Only kidding around my friend! I know, that that is your account! Have a GREAT Weekend Everyone!!! Jay.

soultiger    Too old to rock'n'roll, too young to die? Bollocks!!!

soultiger    Purple - your msg confuses me. Do YOU think you look older than you are?? Nahnahnah, can't believe that ;) Man, when I turned 30, I had a happy relationship, I was a proud mom, I went to lots of concerts, I had the time of my life - but I also had the first grey hairs. So what - no big deal, huh? When you have good taste in music, you'll never really grow old... :)

David    Jay, Thank you, I will as soon as I can get access, or, if you'd like comment here. Seems to be a issue since i deleted my old account.
